Our 3-day, 2-night K’gari tour package will be the highlight of your trip in Australia. We supply everything needed, from Rainbow Beach hostel accommodation to all your needs on our epic 3-day K’gari Island Tour, and it all starts at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach.

Experience beach driving yourself in one of our tag-along vehicles whilst visiting the most amazing freshwater lakes & cruising along sand tracks through ancient rainforests. We’ll take you to the breathtaking Lake Boorangoora (McKenzie), the foaming Champagne Pools and the iconic rusting Maheno shipwreck stranded along 75 mile beach set against the incredible coloured sands of K’gari. Let’s not forget about Lake Wabby and the resident catfish. Floating down the famous Eli Creek is a must, and be sure to look out for the Wongari (wild Dingoes) while driving along the endless beach.

We are a family-owned and operated business, meaning that we have your best interests at heart. On our 3-day, 2-night tag-along tour, we’ll make sure you see the most of K’gari.

We depart from Rainbow Beach, meaning that you’ll be on K’gari in just under 20 minutes, after packing your 4×4, making more time to experience the world’s largest sand Island!

A 2-minute walk from Rainbow Beach town centre and beach, this unpretentious hostel lies 12 km from the Inskip Point Recreation Area and 14 km from Double Island Point. We don’t have a bar, so you’re welcome to bring your own.

Rainbow Beach is a coastal gem and the perfect place to base yourself before starting your K’gari island tour! We recommend staying an extra day or two to discover Rainbow Beach activities and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding our town. There’s plenty to see here before you head off on your K’gari 4WD tour or when you return from one of our tours.

Yes, however Pippies only offer a 3 Day 4×4 Tag Along Tour to Fraser Island as there is so much to see. Please give us a call for options on a Day Tour, as we are pretty fussy and will only recommend what we would do ourselves.

Yes you can do Fraser Island on your own but as a traveller we recommend rather doing a Fraser Island Tour as everything is organised for you, therefore all you have to do is just have a great time!

Noosa is 1 Hour 34 Minutes from Inskip Point in Rainbow Beach where you can take the ferry across to Fraser Island!

The Gold Coast is 4 Hours from Inskip Point in Rainbow Beach where you can take the ferry across to Fraser Island
